台大根與芽社，相信一個更好的世界來自一個個更好的選擇，培養學生行動時能夠一併顧及地球上的生命。改變從個人開始，選擇從群體考量，藉由找出周遭根源的問題，並實際執行解決方案。
NTU Roots & Shoots believes that a better world comes from better choices .
We encourage students to consider the wellbeing of all life on earth in every action.
根與芽是珍古德博士發起的計畫，期許青年能夠關注自身周遭的環境以及與我們共存的生物、社區與文化，親手實踐生活中的環保與永續。目前在全球遍佈100個國家，逾10000個組織，台灣也有逾800個組織，透過根與芽的名義為地球行動。
Roots & Shoots is a global youth program founded by Dr. Jane Goodall.
This program empowers young people to care for their environment and take action for sustainability in everyday life.
In Taiwan, there are over 800 groups taking action for the planet under the name of Roots & Shoots.
